The Peripatetic Festival

It was decided that the Peripatetic Festival, set up in 2000, would be run in a similar way to that used for the ‘Spotlight’ awards presented by the Birmingham Post and Mail, in the days when John Daniels, our late President, was the Managing Editor.

That is to say, if your group decides to enter the Peripatetic Festival, the Guild will send two representatives to see your show at your own venue. The 16 trophies listed below will be awarded at the final night of BFAME “Festival Week” 3rd March 2012:-

Entry is available to any group within the West Midlands County and a company can make any number of entries. A nominal entry fee is made of £7 to Guild Members and £14 Non-Guild Members to cover administrative costs; you will also need to supply two tickets and two programmes.

We the hope that you will consider that this is not only a good way to promote your society, but also a way of making your group’s name known to a wider audience.
